Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical support under supervision across multiple offices. This float pool position requires travel to different locations and strong patient interaction skills.

Responsibilities include room preparation, vital signs, basic tests, and record keeping. The role emphasizes confidentiality, efficient data entry, and adapting care to diverse patient needs in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to interact with diverse populations.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Knowledge of computerized processes and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms, supplies and instruments.
• Take vital signs and document in patient chart.
• Perform EKG, PFT, Audiometry, Titmus Test as indicated.
• Maintain records and assist with collections/billing as needed.
• Use computer software to maintain office systems and ensure confidentiality.
