NEPHROLOGY ASSOCIATES is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) for our Franklin/Nashville offices. This full-time role supports ambulatory clinical care, rooms patients, and assists providers to keep visits running smoothly.

Travel to Madison, Franklin, or Nashville offices as needed; active Tennessee CCMA certification and BLS required. Responsibilities include patient care under physician direction, vitals, phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, urine analysis, EMR documentation, lab result

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) credential and active Tennessee certification required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Willingness to travel to other offices and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under physician/PA direction.
• Room patients and record vitals for exams.
• Perform CMA scope tasks: phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, specimen handling.
• Review charts and update medications/results; document in EMR.
• Report lab findings and carry out orders under supervision.
• Support chronic care management with monthly outreach.
• Triage calls for urgent needs; educate patients per guidelines.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and uphold safety and confidentiality.
