Job summary

The ideal candidate holds active CCMA certification in Tennessee, current BLS, and is willing to travel to other offices as needed. At least 12 months of CCMA experience in ambulatory or primary care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active CCMA certification; TN credential required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Willing to travel to other offices; valid driving license.
• 12+ months CCMA experience in ambulatory or primary care (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care support under physician or AP provider.
• Room patients, take vitals, urinalysis; document in EMR.
• Perform CMA tasks: phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, specimen processing.
• Review charts and update meds and recent test results.
• Report lab findings to providers and carry out orders per protocol.
• Document monthly outreach for enrolled patients (care management).
• Triage patient calls for urgent needs under RN/physician direction.
• Educate and counsel patients using approved guidelines.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, instruments, and clinical standards.
• Uphold safety, infection control, and HIPAA confidentiality.
• Collaborate with patients, clinicians, and staff; contribute to team culture.
