Job summary

University Hospitals Parma Medical Center seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider for outpatient cardiology services. The role involves seeing new and established patients with a daytime schedule Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-4:30 pm, including travel to Medina and Fairlawn locations.

APRNs/PAs with cardiology experience are preferred. The APP will be responsible for patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team in a hospital setting that emphasizes quality care

Qualifications

• Experience as Advanced Practice Provider in a cardiology setting is preferred.
• Current APRN/PA licensure and appropriate credentials in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessment and assigns diagnosis based on data and current research.
• Establishes plan of care and implements interventions per carepaths, protocols and standards.
• Collaborates with health care providers in an interdisciplinary team.
• Provides education and supports staff and patients for learning and professionalism.
• Demonstrates leadership and effective management.
• Supports professional development through continuing education and peer review.
