Job summary

Clear Creek ISD Maintenance in Webster, Texas is seeking a Lead Custodian Floater to supervise campus custodial operations, coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and efficient building operations across district facilities.

You will direct custodians, monitor attendance and time cards, manage supplies, and support district events; bilingual Spanish/English preferred; ability to lift up to 80 pounds and operate cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• Effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning and safety procedures.
• Basic computer knowledge including data entry and email retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor the work of custodians at assigned campuses.
• Plan, oversee, and participate in all custodial work to maintain safety, cleanliness and efficiency.
• Oversee custodial support for district events and facility rentals, including opening/locking buildings and cleaning rented areas.
• Monitor time cards of custodial employees.
• Maintain inventory and order custodial supplies.
• Promote safety and security of the building.
• Be responsible for the health and comfort of students and employees.
• Perform minor repairs as needed.
• Keep premises neat and clean at all times.
• Ensure exit doors and panic bolts function properly during occupancy hours.
• Support district energy management and safety programs.
