Job summary

The CAD Designer at Alleguard creates precise technical drawings and plans from client and internal specifications, supporting sales and manufacturing. You will collaborate across engineering, sales, and production to ensure designs meet customer needs and are producible.

We value strong CAD skills, familiarity with BIM/SketchUp, and the ability to manage multiple projects while communicating clearly with stakeholders. Travel is around 25% as needed.

Qualifications

Proven work experience as a CAD Designer.
Proficient knowledge of CAD software and other drafting tools.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods.
Strong communication and project management skills.
Degree in drafting, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

Create detailed CAD drawings based on specifications from customers, engineers and sales.
Provide manufacturing equipment codes based on CAD drawings and equipment software.
Provide design takeoffs for Alleguard products using engineering software.
Create and alter construction sketches.
Follow project schedules and deadlines.
Maintain organized project files and documentation.
