The Menta Education Group is seeking a Traveling Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to assess student development and contribute to IEPs for behavioral growth. You will travel regionally to support four Menta schools in the Chicago area and implement evidence-based interventions with fidelity.
Responsibilities include conducting FBAs, collaborating with school teams, developing intervention plans, training staff, and collecting data to monitor progress.
As a Traveling Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with The Menta Education Group, you will assess the development of students, as well as contribute to student IEP’s for behavioral growth.
Behavior Analyst licensure and BACB certification
This position would entail local and regional reimbursed travel.
Provide services between (4) Menta schools at the following locations:
Direct Hire with our school: Return school year after school year (no annual contract)
$60,000 - $75,000 a year
Menta Academy Midway promotes independence in students by creating a learning environment that fosters individualization and planning. The program provides support for English and non-English speaking children with disabilities by focusing on the whole child in their native language. Collaborative and data-based problem-solving approaches are utilized to develop appropriate interventions and progress monitoring.
The classrooms integrate evidence-based strategies from the Structured Teaching Model developed by Division TEACCH, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Physical structure, visual schedules, work systems, communication systems, and sensory supports are thoughtfully integrated to optimize student success.
Midway serves students in grades K-12 and those transitioning from school to life ages 18-21. Disabilities served include autism, emotional disabilities, specific learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, other health impairments, traumatic brain injury, and multiple disabilities.
