Job summary

The Menta Education Group is seeking a Traveling Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to assess student development and contribute to IEPs for behavioral growth. The role requires licensure and BACB certification, and involves travel between four Menta campuses in Chicago, IL.

You will conduct FBAs, collaborate on intervention plans, train staff, and help monitor student progress through data collection and reporting. Direct hire with yearly renewal not required.

Qualifications

  • Must hold Behavior Analyst licensure and BACB certification.

Responsibilities

As a Traveling Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with The Menta Education Group, you will assess the development of students, as well as contribute to student IEP's for behavioral growth.

Required: Behavior Analyst licensure and BACB certification

This position would entail local and regional reimbursed travel.

Provide services between (4) Menta schools at the following locations:

Direct Hire with our school: Return school year after school year (no annual contract)

Responsibilities

About Menta Academy Midway

Menta Academy Midway promotes independence in students by creating a learning environment that fosters individualization and planning. The program provides support for English and non-English speaking children with disabilities by focusing on the whole child in their native language. Collaborative and data-based problem-solving approaches are utilized to develop appropriate interventions and progress monitoring.

The classrooms integrate evidence-based strategies from the Structured Teaching Model developed by Division TEACCH, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Physical structure, visual schedules, work systems, communication systems, and sensory supports are thoughtfully integrated to optimize student success.

Midway serves students in grades K-12 and those transitioning from school to life ages 18-21. Disabilities served include autism, emotional disabilities, specific learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, other health impairments, traumatic brain injury, and multiple disabilities.
