Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced systems specialist/technician to travel to data center construction sites and perform preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and commissioning of BAS/BMS and HVAC controls with minimal supervision. You will handle point-to-point checkouts, troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and controls issues, and complete project documentation.

The role requires 3+ years in building automation, willingness to travel 70-100% (lighter if local to OH, NV, WI), and familiarity

Qualifications

• 3+ years building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls experience.
• Willingness to travel to client sites roughly 70-100% of the time; lighter if local to OH, NV, WI.
• Familiarity with Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, ALC, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, or other BAS/BMS systems.
• Experience with Data center construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Travel to data center construction sites to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and commissioning of systems with minimal supervision.
• Conduct point-to-point checkouts and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and controls issues.
• Complete required project documentation.

Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 per year

As an experienced systems specialist/technician on our team, you will be responsible for traveling to data center construction sites and conducting preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and commissioning of systems with minimal supervision, ensuring proper functioning and performance. Tasks include point-to-point checkouts, troubleshooting HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls issues, and completing required project documentation.

Must Have

• 3+ years of building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls experience
• Willingness to travel to client sites roughly 70-100% of the time. If local to OH, NV, WI, travel will be lighter.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following BAS/BMS systems: Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, ALC, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, or other
• Experience with Data center construction projects
