Job summary

American Heritage Barn Preservation is seeking a construction carpenter with 2+ years of experience in wood-related work. You will prepare sites, load materials, and operate tools and equipment as directed by supervisors. The role requires travel to multiple job sites across the state, including out-of-town assignments where lodging is provided.

Applicants should be physically fit and willing to learn. A high school diploma or equivalent is required and two job references are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in construction/woodworking field.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and follow supervisor instructions.
• Candidate must be physically fit and able to perform manual labor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction sites, materials and tools.
• Load/unload materials, tools and equipment.
• Operate heavy equipment (skid steer, excavator, man-lift) and hand tools.
• Climb ladders and travel between state job sites.
• Work out of town as required.
