Lifespace Communities, Inc. seeks an experienced senior living leader to join Querencia at Barton Creek in Austin, TX as Associate Executive Director.

This highly mobile role requires partnering with Executive Directors, leading multiple departments, managing budgets and resident experience, and stepping in as interim Executive Director as needed. You’ll develop leadership capability across Lifespace communities, support occupancy goals with Sales, and relocate or travel as opportunities arise

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in senior living.
• Leadership with P&L responsibility, budgets, and multiple departments or teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, gerontology, hospitality, or related field; master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Executive Directors to lead day-to-day community operations.
• Serve in temporary/interim Executive Director assignments across Lifespace communities.
• Lead and develop department directors and community teams.
• Oversee operational performance, budgets, P&L, quality, compliance, and resident experience.
• Partner with Sales to support occupancy and revenue goals.
• Lead team member and resident engagement initiatives.
• Manage complex operational challenges and enterprise-wide projects.
• Build the experience and leadership capabilities needed to become a successful Executive Director.
