Job summary

Lifespace Communities, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, seeks an Associate Executive Director for Querencia at Barton Creek in Austin, TX. This senior leadership role involves frequent travel, temporary assignments as Interim Executive Director, and development of community operations to prepare for a future Executive Director position.

You will partner with Executive Directors, oversee budgets, quality, and resident experience, and lead multiple departments toward occupancy and revenue goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in senior living.
• Leadership experience with P&L, budgets, and multiple departments or teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, gerontology, hospitality, or related field; master’s preferred.
• LNHA/Nursing Home Administrator experience strongly preferred.
• Life Plan Community/CCRC experience highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively and relocate for a permanent Executive Director opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Executive Directors to lead day-to-day community operations.
• Serve in temporary/interim Executive Director assignments across Lifespace communities as business needs arise.
• Lead and develop department directors and community teams.
• Oversee operational performance, budgets, P&L, quality, compliance, and resident experience.
• Partner with Sales to support occupancy and revenue goals.
• Lead team member and resident engagement initiatives.
• Manage complex operational challenges and enterprise-wide projects.
• Build the experience and leadership capabilities needed to become a successful Executive Director.
