Job summary

ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking a Traveling Assistant Superintendent with 3-5 years of supervisory on-site experience to lead interior buildouts, framing, finish carpentry, and specialty installations. You will supervise self-perform crews, coordinate with subcontractors, and collaborate with project managers to deliver exemplary projects.

The role requires travel, strong math and blueprint-reading skills, and a commitment to worker safety.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of supervisory on-site experience on ground up or large scale renovation projects in commercial/industrial construction.
• Strong mathematical skills for measurements & calculations.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• OSHA construction safety certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans & blueprints.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of project tasks from start to completion.
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate implementation.
• Regional travel to projects to be on-site as needed.
• Ensure that projects are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and worker safety.
• Identify and resolve construction-related problems efficiently.

ARCO/Murray National Construction is currently seeking a highly motivated Traveling Assistant Superintendent with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. As an Assistant Superintendent ,you will lead site activities from start to finish. You will play a key role in executing interior buildouts, structural framing, finish carpentry, and specialty installations. You will be responsible for supervising self-perform crews, coordinating with subcontractors, and collaborating closely with project managers to deliver exceptional projects that reflect ARCO/Murray’s commitment to excellence.

A Day in the Life:

Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of project tasks from start to completion
