Job summary

ARCO/Murray National Construction seeks a Traveling Assistant Superintendent with 3–5 years of on-site supervision to lead interior buildouts, structural framing, and finish carpentry. You will supervise self-perform crews, coordinate with subcontractors, and work closely with project managers to deliver projects that reflect ARCO’s commitment to excellence.

Regional travel to sites is required; strong safety practices and communication skills are essential as you ensure quality craftsmanship

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory on-site role for ground-up or large-scale commercial/industrial construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of project tasks from start to finish.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specs to ensure accurate implementation.
• Regional travel to projects to be on-site as needed.
• Ensure projects are completed efficiently while maintaining high craftsmanship and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve construction-related problems efficiently.
• Advanced proficiency in tool usage and safety practices.

ARCO/Murray National Construction is currently seeking a highly motivated Traveling Assistant Superintendent with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. As an Assistant Superintendent ,you will lead site activities from start to finish. You will play a key role in executing interior buildouts, structural framing, finish carpentry, and specialty installations. You will be responsible for supervising self-perform crews, coordinating with subcontractors, and collaborating closely with project managers to deliver exceptional projects that reflect ARCO/Murray's commitment to excellence.

A Day In The Life

• Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of project tasks from start to completion
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate implementation
• Regional travel to projects to be on-site as needed
• Ensure that projects are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and worker safety
• Identify and resolve construction-related problems efficiently
• Advanced proficiency in tool usage and safety practices
  
  

Necessary Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role on-site for ground up or large scale renovation projects in commercial or industrial construction
• Strong mathematical skills for measurements & calculations
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds & work in various weather conditions
• Ability to travel as needed
• OSHA construction safety certification preferred
• Ability to read & interpret construction plans & blueprints
• Excellent teamwork & communication skills.

Typical base compensation for the Superintendent role is between $80,000 and $160,000. Candidates with extensive experience may exceed this range. In addition to base salary, the role is eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation based on individual and company performance.
