Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a Security Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial security systems, including access control and CCTV. This contract-to-hire role starts in Rayville, LA and requires 100% travel across the United States with housing and per diem provided.

The position involves collaborating with project leads and superintendents to meet customer requirements, follow drawings and standards, and complete project documentation while ensuring safety

Description

The Security Technician will support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and related low-voltage technologies. This position works alongside project leads and superintendents to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and according to customer requirements. This will be a 100% travel technician role across the United States starting in Rayville, Louisiana. Travelers will receive Per Diem and housing.

• Install and service access control and CCTV systems
• Pull, terminate, label, and test cabling
• Assist with system startup and commissioning
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Follow project drawings and installation standards

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
