Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The role involves performing diagnostic radiography procedures, operating advanced imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort within established protocols.

The position requires ARRT certification, BLS, state clearances, and about two years of experience. Travel rotation includes day shifts, with a 40-hour work week and 13-week duration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)-approved school of Radiologic Technology, or verification of program completion and a scheduled graduation date
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• PA Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 clearances
• Two years of experience

Responsibilities

• Independently performs diagnostic radiography procedures following established protocols
• Operates complex imaging equipment for image acquisition, analysis, manipulation, and documentation
• Administers oral and rectal contrast as ordered
• Properly identifies patients using two identifiers and follows universal protocol
• Reviews patient histories and physician orders to apply departmental protocols
• Communicates procedure instructions clearly and supports patient understanding
• Collaborates with patients and healthcare team to ensure efficient patient care
• Outpatient work requires ARRT certification
