Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an X-ray Technologist to perform X-ray imaging in a Rehabilitation Services setting. This 17-week travel contract runs day shifts Monday through Friday, with a rotating weekend requirement and no holidays or on-call duties.

Requires 2+ years of experience (4+ preferred), ARRT certification, IEMA license if applicable, and Epic EMR proficiency. Active license and references are required; local candidates may be paid at the same rate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years experience, 4+ years preferred
• ARRT(R) certification required
• IEMA license required if applicable
• Epic EMR proficiency required and must be reflected in employment history
• Active license and certifications required; pending credentials not accepted
• Two current professional references from a Supervisor/Manager/Charge within the last year required, with at least one travel reference preferred
• New graduates not accepted
• Ortho experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Rehabilitation services setting performing X-ray imaging
• 17-week contract assignment
• Day shift, Monday-Friday 10:30 AM-7:00 PM, 40 hours/week
• Rotating weekend requirement of one weekend per month, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, with a weekday off in that week to maintain 40 hours
• No holiday, floating, or on-call requirements
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must be separated from employment for 12 months before being eligible to return as travelers
• RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days for 13-week contracts
