Job summary

Luck Stone is seeking a Welder I to join our traveling construction crew. As a Welder I you will install, repair, and fabricate metal items to support Luck Stone operations, ensuring equipment and structures function safely.

Travel typically runs Sunday night/Monday to Thursday, visiting sites in VA/NC/SC/GA. Initial duties include shop and tool upkeep, obtaining equipment, and performing welds with TIG and MIG techniques.

Qualifications

• 2+ years welding experience in a construction or fabrication environment.
• 1+ year experience TIG and MIG welding.
• Ability to travel 80% to VA/NC/SC/GA.
• Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain shop, equipment, and tools in an organized manner.
• Request equipment and supplies to support operations.
• Install various items to complete projects safely and within timelines.
• Maintain welds and repair metal surfaces to ensure functionality and safety.
• Coordinate with others to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Respond to safety issues and urgent repairs promptly.
