Job summary

Abacus Corporation is seeking reliable Order Pickers/Packers to join a fast-paced distribution center. You will pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.

Position requires ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs, and basic computer/scanner use. Willingness to travel to Columbus, Ohio for the assignment and stay for approximately 6-8 weeks. This opportunity is part of Abacus Travel Family.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; basic computer and scanner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders using RF scanners and/or pick lists.
• Pack products according to company standards to ensure accurate and damage-free shipments.
• Label, sort, and prepare orders for shipping.
• Verify product quantities and inspect items for quality before shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Meet daily productivity and quality goals.
• Assist with inventory control and other warehouse duties as assigned.

Deployment & Travel Details - MUST be willing to travel to Columbus Ohio

• Hotel lodging – employee pays $100 a week
• Transportation – must have reliable transportation to Columbus Ohio as well as to work site and back to hotel
• Shift details to be determined, $21 per hour
• You must be able to remain on assignment for the full duration of the project (approximately 6-8 weeks)
