Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Vascular Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Morehead, Kentucky. The role requires vascular ultrasound exams, Doppler assessments, patient communication, and adherence to safety standards. Candidates should have ARDMS RVT/RDMS and BLS, with state licensure often required.

Expect 40 hours per week, evenings, and a tax-free stipend. Travel experience and reliable performance are essential as you support physicians across clinical settings.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Vascular Technologist is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ARDMS certification (RDMS RVT) or RDMS OB/GYN preferred; RVT or RVS may be preferred.
• State licensure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound exams including carotid, arterial, venous, and abdominal studies.
• Use Doppler technology to assess blood flow and identify vascular conditions.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort during exams.
• Document normal and abnormal imaging findings for physician interpretation.
• Calibrate and maintain ultrasound systems and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members.
