Qualifications

• ARDMS certification is required.
• Active Sonographer license in the employing state is required.
• Certificate in obstetrics/gynecology, cardiac, vascular, or musculoskeletal as required.
• Two years of recent experience in the specified specialty.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Recent acute care experience for acute care/LTAC placements.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to protocol and physician orders.
• Position patients safely and optimize imaging quality.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and communicate findings to the physician.
