American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer for a hospital-based travel assignment in Dublin, OH. The role requires RVT certification, ARDMS in Abdomen or GyN, and experience with GE equipment, EPIC EMR, and a strong clinical track record.

You will perform abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular studies on a 200+ bed hospital with a rotating 10-hour schedule and travel responsibilities. Travel experience and licensure compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years ultrasound experience including travel assignments.
• ARDMS Abdomen or GYN certification required; RVT for vascular work.
• BLS certified and license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs ultrasound exams: abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular.
• Vascular scope limited to abdominal Doppler; uses GE Logiq e10 and EPIC EMR.
• Travelers float first; on-call rotation with other sonographers; adherence to schedule.
• Collaborate with radiologists to review findings and support diagnosis.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer requiring RVT certification and strong GE equipment experience for a hospital-based assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience, including travel experience
• 1-2 years of ultrasound training from an accredited program
• ARDMS certification in Abdomen or GYN required
• RVT certification required for vascular needs
• RDCS or RCS certification preferred
• BLS certification required
• Strong GE equipment experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• 200+ bed community hospital setting
• Independently performs ultrasound exams including abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular studies
• Vascular scope limited to abdominal Doppler
• Uses GE Logiq e10 equipment and EPIC EMR
• Charcoal grey scrubs required
• 2-week rotating schedule combining 10-hour day and night shifts
• Week 1: Wed/Thu/Fri 4p-12:30a, Sat/Sun 10a-10:30p; Week 2: Sun 10a-10:30p, Wed/Thu 4p-12:30a
• On-call rotates with other sonographer, including every other weekend Fri 12a-10a, Sat 10:30p-10a, Sun 10:30p-7a
• Travelers are first to float
• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• Reviews and discusses ultrasound findings with radiologist to assist in diagnosis
• Max 10 days RTO per contract, with no RTO allowed during initial weeks of assignment
• References not required for consideration
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the central facility location to be eligible for the travel assignment
• More than one call-off may result in termination, and no call/no show results in immediate termination
• Lab work must be completed within 48 hours of signing, and EKG/Dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space, no pass required
• Previous employees must have a 366-day separation from employment before returning as a traveler
