Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a freestanding ER setting in Massachusetts. ARDMS certification is required, with AB, OB/GYN and RVT credentials preferred, plus pediatric experience in a complex medical center.

Requirements include BLS, 1 year of experience, prior travel experience, and the ability to pass an EKG competency test. The role involves shifts in Nashoba and Marlborough campuses, with on-site duties and potential breaks per protocol.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification required; license if applicable
• ARDMS AB certification required; ARDMS OB/GYN and ARDMS RVT preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Documented pediatric ultrasound experience in a complex medical center
• Skills in abdominal, pelvic, renal, scrotal, and pediatric imaging listed
• Experience with vascular studies including aorta, carotid, color flow and duplex imaging
• Experience with procedures such as cyst aspiration, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and ultrasound-guided biopsy/FNA preferred
• OB/GYN and 1st trimester imaging experience preferred
• Must pass EKG competency test
• Two professional references required (one Nurse Manager or higher)

Responsibilities

• Work in a brand new, state-of-the-art freestanding Emergency Department
• 3x8 hour day shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• EO W/E OH weekend rotation required
• Float between Nashoba and Marlborough campuses ~30-40 minutes apart
• Use Epic for charting and PACS and Philips equipment
• May work alone at the Nashoba location with a 12-hour shift and no 30-minute break on-site
• Work settings include ED, ICU, OB, Pediatrics, and Vascular
• Perform portable ultrasound studies as needed
• Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility
• Adhere strictly to posted start date with no flexibility

• Experience with cyst aspiration, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and ultrasound-guided biopsy/FNA procedures preferred
• Experience with OB/GYN and 1st trimester imaging
• Must pass EKG competency test
• Two professional references required, one of which must be a Nurse Manager or higher
