American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Sonographer for a small outpatient vascular ultrasound lab. The role requires 2+ years of dedicated vascular lab experience and active NH licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities include mostly outpatient exams, some inpatient work, and occasional travel to nearby locations. The position features long daytime hours with weekend call and orientation provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dedicated acute care vascular lab experience required.
• Unit-specific experience within last 6 months preferred; approval for last 9 months potentially acceptable.
• Active NH license required at submission (license required if applicable).
• BLS certification required.
• Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) by CCI or RVT by ARDMS required.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a small vascular lab staffed with 3 full-time and 2 per diem sonographers.
• Primarily outpatient exams with some inpatient studies and rare portable scans.
• Provide generous scan times and focus on adult patients; pediatric cases are rare.
• 10-hour days 7:00–17:30, Wednesdays off.
• Rotating call approximately every 4th or 5th weekend from 8:00–14:00.
• Travel may be required to Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin locations.
• First-time travelers with 2+ years vascular lab experience considered.
• Local candidates within 50 miles at local rate.
• Weekly orientation provided.
• Former perm staff may return as travelers after 12-month break.

• Open to pediatric-inexperienced candidates given sufficient vascular lab background

• May be requested to float to Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin locations
• First-time travelers considered if they have 2+ years of dedicated vascular lab experience
• Local candidates accepted within 50 miles at a local rate
• Weekly orientation provided
• Former perm staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
