Overview

Vascular Sonographer (Travel) in Concord, New Hampshire. This temporary assignment is 13 weeks starting 10/19/2026 in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,650 to $2,687. Shift is 4x10-hour days with possible variations: typical days 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Wednesdays off, and rotating call approximately every 4th or 5th weekend (8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.). The role involves outpatient-focused vascular imaging with some inpatient coverage and potential regional float within NH.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound examinations, including arterial and venous studies, following department protocols
• Prepare patients, position with proper compression and safety, and operate ultrasound equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Document findings clearly in the EMR and communicate results to the supervising physician or medical team
• Adhere to unit-specific protocols, ensure patient safety, and maintain equipment quality and infection control standards
• Coordinate with nurses and physicians for patient care, including perioperative and outpatient vascular evaluations
• Demonstrate competency in the specialty with timely completion of skills checklists and ongoing professional development

Requirements

• Active New Hampshire license required at time of submission (temp license available during application)
• Certification: BLS; RVT by CCI or ARDMS RVT certification required
• Experience: minimum 2+ years of dedicated vascular ultrasound experience in an acute care vascular lab
• Unit-specific experience within the last 6-9 months preferred; local candidates may be considered
• EMR experience preferred (Cerner experience helpful but not required)
• Ability to work in a hospital lab setting and participate in rotating call as required
• Must meet the assignment's geographic requirements and be able to travel within the region as needed
