Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with general, OB, and vascular ultrasound experience for a general radiology/cardiology position. This 26-week travel assignment requires ARDMS certification and a diagnostic medical sonography program graduate.

You will work 4x10 hour day shifts (Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 AM–8:00 PM) with no on-call. The role uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS, with housing and licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in general and vascular ultrasound.
• Graduate from an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or ultrasound technologist program.
• ARDMS certification required; ARDMS AB and ARDMS RVT preferred.
• License required if applicable.
• Travel experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform General, OB, and Vascular ultrasound studies.
• Work day shift: 4x10 hours, Tue-Fri, 10:00–20:00.
• No on-call required.
• Holiday coverage if shift falls on a holiday.
• Possible float to South campus.
• Study populations: adult, ICU, NICU, obstetrics, pediatrics.
• Procedures include OB/GYN trimesters, vascular studies, and general ultrasound.
• Operate GE ultrasound equipment and PACS.
• Onsite drug screen with marijuana testing; positive results cancel.
• Candidates should avoid CBD products around arrival onsite.
• Local candidates within 110 miles are not accepted.
• Preferred assignment length: 26 weeks; minimum 13 weeks.

• Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system
• Perform general, OB, and vascular ultrasound studies across adult, ICU, NICU, obstetric, and pediatric populations
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with any positive result resulting in automatic cancellation
• Candidates should avoid substances that could affect drug screen results, including CBD products, prior to and after arrival onsite
• Local candidates within 110 miles are not accepted
• Preferred assignment length is 26 weeks, with a minimum of 13 weeks considered
