Job summary

ConnectedHealth is seeking an ultrasound technician for a 13-week, local travel assignment in Grants, New Mexico. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams across obstetrics, general, vascular, and breast specialties, following physician orders and ensuring patient safety.

You must hold ARDMS certification, BLS, and an accredited degree in diagnostic medical sonography, with NM work eligibility. The role focuses on high-quality imaging, accurate documentation, and adherence to imaging

Qualifications

• OB, general, vascular and breast ultrasound experience required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in diagnostic medical sonography or related field.
• Active ARDMS certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work in New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams per physician orders.
• Conduct OB, general, vascular and breast studies.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and proper positioning during exams.
• Accurately document findings and communicate results to the care team.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and follow imaging protocols.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
