Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. The role involves operating imaging equipment, reviewing images for quality, and communicating results to physicians.

Requirements include ARDMS, an associate or bachelor’s degree with sciences coursework, BLS, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. The weekly pay ranges from $1,980 to $2,030 and includes standard SHC benefits. Shifts are 10 hours, days, with a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification is required.
• Relevant ultrasound experience and education in sciences are required.
• BLS certification via the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment, and review images to ensure quality for diagnosis.
• Identify normal/abnormal results, summarize findings for physicians, and alert for urgent issues.
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate during the ultrasound exam.
• Review medical history, document imaging results, and coordinate care within the facility.
