Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Biddeford, Maine. The role is 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts, and requires ARDMS certification, an associate or bachelor's degree with sciences coursework, and BLS with at least two years of recent experience.

You will operate imaging equipment, review images for quality, and communicate findings to physicians while coordinating care across hospital departments.

Qualifications

• Active ARDMS certification.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• 2 years of recent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality images for diagnosis.
• Identify normal/abnormal imaging results and communicate summaries to physicians; alert them to urgent problems.
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients during ultrasound exams.
• Review patient history, record imaging results, and coordinate care with facility departments.
