Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. The position offers 40 hours per week in a hospital setting with 10-hour day shifts.

Active ARDMS certification is required along with an Associate or Bachelor's degree and AHA BLS. Candidates should have 2 years of recent experience. Competitive weekly pay and benefits are provided through SHC.

Qualifications

• Active ARDMS certification required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• 2 years of recent relevant ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment, and review images to ensure quality for diagnosis.
• Identify normal and abnormal imaging results and communicate a summary to physicians; alert to urgent problems.
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate them during the ultrasound exam.
• Review patient medical history, document imaging results, and coordinate care with facility departments.
