Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. The role requires 3+ years acute hospital experience and ARDMS AB/OB/RVT certification, with a 40-hour work week and on-call as needed.

The technologist will perform abdominal, GYN, OB, neonatal, and vascular exams using Canon i700 equipment, Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS. A travel contract and state license if applicable are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years acute hospital experience as a full-time sonographer
• ARDMS certification in Abdomen (AB), OB, and Vascular Technology (RVT)
• Active BLS certification through AHA
• State license required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams across abdominal, GYN, OB, neonatal, superficial structure and vascular specialties
• Shift: 8 hours, 40 hours per week, on-call as needed
• Floating to other units/departments as required
