Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week assignment in Jasper, Indiana. The role focuses on Echo and vascular imaging, requiring at least one year of recent experience and an accredited ultrasound program.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent Ultrasound Technologist experience.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans.
• Prepare and position patient to ensure accurate imaging and prioritize comfort and safety.
• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations of general and vascular studies.
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment for safety and compliance.
• Apply technical expertise and critical thinking to perform procedures effectively.
• Work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per regulatory standards.
