Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week travel assignment in Jackson, TN. The Gen/Vascular role involves high-frequency imaging, patient prep, and image analysis as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited program, at least one year of experience, and current BLS. State licensure and ARDMS/ARRT credentials are preferred; competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent ultrasound experience.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and vascular ultrasound scans with high accuracy.
• Prepare and position patients for examinations and comfort.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate imaging into care plans.
• Evaluate images for clarity and diagnostic value.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment for safety.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain professionalism in fast-paced, high-pressure settings.
