Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks an Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbia, SC. The role involves Echo/Vascular imaging, patient prep, and collaboration with a clinical team to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Requirements include an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, at least one year of experience, BLS, and a valid Ultrasound license. ARDMS/ARRT/CCI credentials are preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent Ultrasound Technologist experience.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans.
• Prepare and position patient to ensure accurate imaging and prioritize comfort and safety.
• Perform and evaluate general and vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment for safety and functionality.
