Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Alexandria, Virginia. The role is 40 hours per week with 8-hour evening shifts and a start ASAP.

The technician will perform pediatric abdominal ultrasound, operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, document patient data in the EPIC EMR, and participate in on-call rotations with potential for additional shifts. • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Proficient in pediatric ultrasound scanning.
• Knowledge of musculoskeletal imaging is a plus.

Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist with experience in pediatric cases, particularly focusing on abdominal scans. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations, particularly focusing on pediatric abdominal cases.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure high-quality imaging.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
• Participate in on-call rotations with flexible options for additional shifts when needed.
• Assist in floating to different locations as required.

Qualifications

Additional Information

• Shift: Monday through Friday, 1500-2330.
• Daily caseload: 12-15 patients across 2 rooms with 2 machines (Samsung).
• Floor orientation to last 1 week.
• Scrubs required are black.
