Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist with a background in pediatric scanning, specifically for abdominal cases. The role is focused on weekend shifts and requires flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations, primarily on pediatric patients.
• Maintain high-quality imaging standards while completing 12-15 cases per day.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care.
• Participate in rotation for onsite scanning at multiple regional locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (must be AHA certified).
• ARDMS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Ability to perform pediatric ultrasound exams, with a focus on abdominal cases.

Work Schedule

Shift: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7:0 AM to 7:30 PM.

Floater position may include variable holiday scheduling as part of the routine.

No on-call duties are required.

Additional Information

• Orientation duration is one week.
• Required to wear black scrubs during shifts.
• Experience with EMR system, specifically EPIC, is preferred.
