Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Ultrasound Technologist (US Tech III) with 1+ years of general and vascular sonography experience. Travel assignments across multiple facilities require ARDMS certification and current ACLS/BLS/NIHSS credentials.

OB/GYN skills are preferred and travel experience is highly valued; work will include adult, neonatal, and obstetric populations with on-site drug screening and expectations for CBD avoidance prior to arrival.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in general and vascular ultrasound; OB experience preferred
• ARDMS certification required; AB and RVT preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification required
• License required if applicable
• OB/GYN skills preferred, including 1st-3rd trimester studies
• Travel experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Work settings include Adult, Emergency Department, ICU, NICU, Obstetrics, and Pediatrics
• Performs portable ultrasound studies
• Vascular studies include aorta, arterial mapping, carotid, Doppler studies, duplex, and stents
• General ultrasound studies include appendix, gallbladder, and pancreas
• Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system
• Perform general and vascular ultrasound studies across adult and pediatric patient populations
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with a positive result resulting in automatic cancellation
• Candidates should avoid any products that could result in a positive drug screen, including CBD products, prior to arrival
• Local candidates are not accepted within the 110-mile radius rule
