Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to provide general ultrasound coverage across inpatient, outpatient, and ED settings in a teaching hospital environment.

Requirements include ARDMS RVT and AB/OBGYN certifications, ARDMS certification, BLS, and Epic EMR experience. Licensing must be current and in-hand. Shifts include 3x12h days with on-call weekends; travel experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year ultrasound technologist experience.
• Teaching hospital experience required.
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred.
• ARDMS certification required; ARDMS AB/OBGYN and ARRT-S preferred.
• ARDMS RVT certification required.
• BLS certification required; Epic charting system experience required.
• License required if applicable; license must be in-hand at submission.

Responsibilities

• Covers inpatient, outpatient, and ED settings.
• 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• On-call required Friday through Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM every weekend.
• 1:1 patient ratio.
• Epic EMR used.
• Work settings include adult, ED, ICU, maternal fetal medicine, obstetrics, pediatrics, portables, and vascular studies.
• Performs OB/GYN, fetal, neonatal, pediatric, general ultrasound, vascular, and renal/pelvic exams.
• Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system.
• Responsibilities include OB/GYN imaging across all trimesters, fetal anatomical surveys, abdominal and vascular studies, and pediatric and neonatal ultrasound exams.
• Facility conducts its own mandatory drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with a positive result resulting in automatic cancellation.
• Candidates should avoid any products, including CBD, that could result in a positive drug screen.
• Must reside outside a 110-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted.
• Travel experience is highly preferred but not required.
