Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) – Gen/Vascular for a 13-week travel assignment in Dallas, TX. As a member of our team, you'll perform high-frequency ultrasound scans, prep patients, and analyze sonograms for diagnostic purposes while collaborating with our multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

The role requires completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, at least one year of experience, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate imaging into patient care plans.
• Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging and safety.
• Perform ultrasound examinations for general and vascular studies.
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy.
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
