Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Shenandoah, IA. The role focuses on gen/vascular studies and requires an accredited Ultrasound Technology program completion, a year of experience, and active BLS. You’ll work 40 hours per week with day shifts in a travel setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) if required by facility.
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound scans for gen/vascular studies with accuracy.
• Prep and position patients for examinations and ensure comfort and safety.
• Analyze sonograms and document findings for diagnosis.
• Calibrate and maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure safety standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate imaging into care plans.
• Maintain patient records and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology knowledge.
• Communicate clearly with patients and staff throughout procedures.
• Uphold professional standards in a fast-paced travel setting.
