Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist for a 12-week travel assignment in Ottumwa, IA. The role involves performing Gen/Vascular ultrasound examinations, ensuring patient prep and comfort, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate diagnostic images.

The ideal candidate has an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, at least one year of experience, and an active BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in IA compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare and position patients for accurate imaging and comfort.
• Perform ultrasound examinations for general and vascular studies.
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
