Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and ARDMS registration to perform diagnostic ultrasound across OB/GYN, abdomen, breast, vascular, and small parts.

Requirements include ARDMS registered US Sonographer, OBMI certification, current BLS/NRP, and CAHEA-accredited degree or equivalent. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years ultrasound experience.
• ARDMS registered US Sonographer required.
• OBMI certification required.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required.
• License required if applicable.
• CRASE training preferred; required if assignment extends beyond 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic sonography in OB/GYN, abdomen, breast, vascular, and small parts.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and select transducers/frequencies.
• Position patients and obtain informed consent as needed.
• Assist with interventional procedures and contrast administration per policy.
• Maintain aseptic technique and universal precautions.
• Serve as training resource and participate in quality assessment.
