Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Washington, DC. The role focuses on Echo/Vascular imaging, requiring a strong technical skillset and patient-centered care.

You will collaborate with a dedicated clinical team and enjoy competitive pay plus benefits. Required qualifications include an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, 1 year of experience, BLS certification, and a valid ultrasound license.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate anatomy, physiology, pathology knowledge and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans.
• Prepare and position patient to ensure accurate imaging and prioritize comfort and safety.
• Perform ultrasound examinations and evaluate images for diagnostic purposes.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment following safety standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
