Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or radiologic program.
• ARDMS RDMS or ARRT(S) certification required.
• State general radiographer license and/or registered diagnostic medical sonographer credentials.
• BLS certification is required.

• Perform abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical and transvaginal sonograms.

Job Summary

Ultrasound Technician, General Specialty Travel assignment. The position provides timely diagnostic ultrasound services for inpatient and outpatient populations under radiologist direction and established departmental protocols. Responsibilities include abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and transvaginal sonograms, as well as small-parts imaging and ultrasound-guided procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday; 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited program.
  • ARDMS (RDMS) or ARRT (S) certification.
  • State license as a general radiographer and/or registered diagnostic medical sonographer credentials.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Additional Information:
  • Twelve-week assignment scheduled from 11/30/2026 through 02/22/2027.
  • Provides diagnostic services for inpatient and outpatient populations.
  • Performs abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and transvaginal sonograms.
  • Proficiency with small-parts imaging, including thyroid, breast, and scrotal studies.
  • Performs ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage procedures, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations.
