Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Redding, California. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and NIH. You will monitor telemetry data, provide bedside care, and support the care team during 12-hour night shifts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH or equivalent certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust equipment used on patients and interpret/display readings.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify medical team.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment shows adverse signs.
• Stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds when required.
• Maintain vision capabilities (near, far, color, peripheral, depth).
