Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. You will deliver specialized cardiac monitoring care during 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week in a hospital setting.

Requirements include BLS, IL RN license (or initiation of licensure), 2+ years of clinical experience, EKG interpretation, and drug titration experience (Cardizem/Heparin). Travel and coverage across units may be needed.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA) certification; current Illinois RN license or confirmation that application process has been initiated; at least 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting; experience in EKG interpretation and medication titration (including drips such as Cardizem and Heparin); all basic nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• Read telemetry strips on Phillips monitors and monitor cardiac activity.
• Float to other general medical units as needed.
• Provide care on night shifts with 12-hour shifts and minimum 36 hours per week.
