Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Westfield, Massachusetts. The Med Surg/Telemetry specialty requires an RN with 1–2 years of acute care experience for a 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, on night shifts.

As a TELE Travel Nurse, you will monitor telemetry data, operate heart-rate and EKG equipment, and respond to abnormal readings. ACLS and BLS are required; travel benefits include weekly pay and tax-free stipends depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Telemetry RN with Med Surg background required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; 2 years acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust monitored equipment and record displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring data indicates adverse symptoms.
