Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel assignment in Westfield, Massachusetts. This 13-week position offers 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

The ideal candidate has an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS certification, and at least 18 months of acute Med-Surg experience. MedPro provides weekly pay, housing options or housing allowance, credentialing support, and comprehensive insurance.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
