Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Telemetry Travel RN for a 13-week assignment in Conroe, TX. Work 36 hours per week on 12-hour days, monitoring cardiac telemetry and providing bedside care as part of the hospital team. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care telemetry experience with ACLS and BLS.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, 1 Year
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
