Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Longview, TX. You will monitor cardiac rhythms, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit. The role emphasizes safety, critical thinking, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience.
• Current RN license in the applicable state (TX preferred).
• BLS certification through AHA/ARC is required.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data, reporting abnormalities promptly.
• Administer prescribed meds and treatments with emphasis on cardiac care.
• Support physicians during cardiac procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and continuous monitoring in telemetry units.
• Document assessments, responses to interventions, and vital status changes.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
